It’s been a busy sporting week and CRR runners have contributed their sweat and tears as usual!

We start this week back on Monday, long before any of us knew what a Super Over was and CRR’s own Brangelina, Lewis Banton and Hannah Sharpe (Lewannah?) took part in the Hathersage Gala Fell Race with Lewis finishing the 4.5 mile course in 32:40 and Hannah 44:59.
Wednesday saw some great performances at the Doncaster 5K. In the Open competition first home for CRR in 35th place was Dan Page in 00:16:24. 41st was Gary Cadman in 0:16:35 and 47th Matt Martin in a big PB and a Club Gold Standard of 00:16:48. 👏
In the Vets, Malc Stapleton came in on 00:20:03; Steve Hattersley 00:21:09 and Louise Lowe 00:21:40.
It was also the 10 mile Old Colliery Canter on Wednesday which Steve Tebb finished in 1:15:41 and Jane Tupling the 5 mile version in 49:33.
At Rother Valley Parkrun as well as a strong contingent of CRR pacers (Lynn Hazelton finished 34:58 pacing 35 mins) and volunteers, Andrea Walker ran a 23:12 PB and first in age category. 👏
Lindsay Baker also ran a 25:46 PB.
Elsewhere, Lucy Broadhurst’s 23:20 at Sherwood Pines earns her a Bronze Standard.Up at Oxspring, there was a strong CRR contingent at the the tricky Hunshelf Amble. First home in 2nd place was Lewis Banton in 00:53:19; 4th Jordan Street in 00:57:12; Richard Hind 01:08:09; Hannah Sharpe 01:10:07; Steve Hattersley 01:16:36; Ellis Hewitt 01:21:58; Jo Johnson 01:21:58; Julie King 01:21:58 and Dave Johnson 01:35:48.
At the 5 mile Hundall Hobble in Sunday, Nick Roberts finished in 38:24, Gemma Hind 57:08 and Richard Hind 57:13.
I know we also had runners in the Waverley Dash 10K and 5K Race – Lynn Hazelton ran the latter in 31:23 but otherwise a pic will have to suffice!
Well done all!
