CRR fielded an impressive 10 teams at Belper River Relays

Gemma Scougal ran Endure24 last weekend and managed to complete an amazing 65miles and 30 miles more than last year when running in a team.

At the Maltby Abbey Dash on Wednesday evening, Lewis Banton came in on 27:17; Hannah Sharpe 36:12 and Louise Lowe in 37:11 and first Female V35.

At Friday’s Ashover Fell race over a tricky 10k course, Paul Taylor finished in 1:06:44; Matt Taylor 1:07:44 and Jo Johnson 1:07:44 and first female V40 finisher.

At Poolsbrook Parkrun, Adrian Kirkham scored a 20:55 new PB; Neil Inns a 23:04; Gillian Carter 26:24 and Angela Kirkham 33:36.

 

CRR fielded an impressive 10 teams at Belper River Relays - Red Devil’s took the win (for the 4th consecutive year) with a combined time of 1:07:00. Red Hornets were third overall and Red Roses were first vet female team. Well done to all who took part and to Louise Lowe for organising the teams.

 

Also on Saturday at Holkham 10k trail race, Jane Tupling ran a 1:04:20 and Steve Tebb 1:04:21.

Farther afield, at the Vera Half Marathon in Spain, Andrea Walker finished in 1:50:53 despite the 30 degree heat.

On Sunday, Jordan Street ran in the Great Hucklow 6 mile fell race, finishing in 50:56; Steve Battle 1:03:08 and Richard Hind 1:04:11.

Big news from the Ashbourne half marathon where Gareth Lowe finished in 1:14:32, first overall, first vet and won a gold in the British masters half marathon championships.
Darren King finished in 1:19:52 and also got first in his age category and also achieved a gold in the British half marathon championships.
Michelle Needham also finished in 1:53:06.

At the Leeds 10k Gary Cadman finished an impressive 12th in 34:49.

Finally at the Spire 10 Mile, Adrian Kirkham was first home for the Club in 1:17:54.9; followed by Neil Inns 1:23:44.5; Paul Taylor 1:24:29; Gillian Carter 1:32:17.8 and Angela Kirkham 1:57:34.8.
