Weekly Thursday Training Schedule (Jan to March)

Matt, Louise and Julie have put together a schedule for the track sessions taking place at Spinkhill on Thursdays at 6.45pm

JANUARY:

31st January: (Louise)
3 x 800m – 60 sec recovery between
3 mins rest
6 x400m – 45 sec recovery between

FEBRUARY:

7th Feb: (Matt)
6 x 2 mins with 1 min recovery
then
12 x 1 minute with 30 sec recovery

14th Feb: (Julie)
30sec high intensity/ 60 sec Low intensity x2
then
x2 45 / 60 / 90 / 60 / 45 / 30 / with a 60 sec low intensity in between each rep

21st Feb:
John Beattie leading session

28th Feb: (Matt)
8 x 3mins with 90 seconds recovery

MARCH:

Blind 5k – closet to predicted time is our winner!

21st March: (Matt)
pyramid session of 1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1 with half effort time as recovery

28th March: (Julie)
2 x 4 mins 1min run recovery - 2min rest
3 x 2min 1min run recovery - 2min rest
10mins run 5k pace - 3 min rest
4 x 30sec with 30sec run recovery
