John Proffitt at Llangollen Trail 10k John said the following about the race
"On Sunday I ran The Llangollen Trail 10k, in Wales, a very scenic run starting on the town's running track before heading down to the towpath of the Llangollen canal. At the 3k mark we leave the towpath to run around 2 fields before running uphill towards Dinas Bran, a castle that averlooks the town, a sharp decent before coming back onto the towpath for the last 3k, a sting in the tail as there is a steep incline back onto the running track to finish. Over 500 runners in this race that is described as one of the most scenic 10ks in Britain. I came 1st over 70 in a time of 58.13 (a £45 voucher for my efforts!!)"
