The running weather this weekend was cool and breezy, with flurries of PBs all over the country.
Sheffield Half Marathon
The heaviest shower of PBs, along with a burst of hail, hit the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday. Michael Brown was first home for the Club in a new PB time of 1:35:50. Hannah Sharpe was just outside of a Silver Standard time with her 5 minute PB of 1:40:09. Andy Harris came in on 1:44:07 and Matt Taylor scored a 4 minute PB with 1:46:45. Ellis Hewitt sprinted into a 9 minute PB of 1:52:40, closely followed by Jo Johnson in a 2 minute PB on 1:52:49 and Annie Morton in 1:58:28 on an impressive distance debut. David Johnson also registered a new course PB of 2:10:20.
Vale of York 10 Mile
At the Vale of York 10 Mile Race Dan Harpham finished in a new PB time of 1:07:03.
Peterborough Marathon
Meanwhile, at the Peterborough Marathon, Steve Tebb ran out a 15 minute PB with a 3:35:48 finish.
Boston (UK) Marathon
At a cold and windy Boston-UK-Marathon Helen Worsfold breezed home to a 10 minute PB of 4:17:27 and Suzanne Leusby came in on 4:31:58.
Poolsbrook Parkrun
Finally, at Poolsbrook Parkrun Paul Taylor ran 22:25 – described as a Season
