All hail our racers this weekend – who all raced in varying degrees of rain, wind, hail or snow!
Grindleford Gallop
On Saturday, it was the Grindleford Gallop – 21 miles of trails and hills. Jordan Street started his weekend double-header with an 11th Place finish in 2:48:00. Graham Worsfold came in on 3:16:22 and Helen Worsfold in a 7 minute course PB on 4:15:39.
Retford Half Marathon
There was plenty of CRR representation at the Retford Half Marathon on Sunday. First home for the Club was Daniel Page in 1:14:34; Jordan Street in 1:26:52 and regretting his race planning. Dan Harpham finished in 1:32:42 and Malc Ward in 1:47: 30. Mike Brown achieved a new HM PB with 1:37:13 as did Neil Yewman on 1:50:36. Jo Johson achieved both a PB and a Bronze Standard with 1:54:31. Ellis Hewitt also scored a near 10 minute PB finishing on 2:01:39 and a PB too for David Johnson with 2:10:03.
Trafford 10K
Meanwhile over at the Trafford 10K Nick Roberts scored a near 90 second PB with a 39:58 finish.
Rother Valley 10K & 5K
Finally, closer to home, at the Rother Valley 10K, Allison Preece ran in 51:13; Michael Lees 51:55 and in the 5K event Sandra Lees finished in 31:41. Well done all!
