Grindleford Fell Race and Louise Lowe finished in 47:16 managing not to get washed away or stuck down by lightning.
Friday evening at the Notts 10 Mile Road Race and Gareth Lowe finished in 52:37 with a new PB and 1st Male Vet, David Hazelton 1:07:17, PB and Silver standard, Mark Baldwin 1:13:10, PB and Bronze standard, Sam Coleclough 1:22:53, also a new PB and Silver standard.
Gareth Lowe’s new PB at Notts 10 mile which currently looks like ranking him number 1 in the country for Male V40 at this distance. Fantastic achievement Gareth!
Three Lakes Classic yesterday was the latest Grand Prix event. 1st home was Jordan Street finishing in 4th place in 1:37:57 followed by Graham Worsfold 1:47:30, David Leese 1:55:05, Louise Lowe 1:57:30 and 1st Female Vet, Andrea Walker 2:42:59, Helen Worsfold 2:43:02, Lynn Hazelton 2:43:12, Dave Keeling 2:44:19, Jim McIntosh 2:48:56 and Graham Sheen 2:57:42.
Steve Battle completed a 6 day race in Italy as part of an Ultra Marathon Festival finishing 13th and covering 336 miles.
Jackie Robson has run a seasons best at the British Masters 5k Championships in Horwich with a time of 21:39, 4th in age category.
Karen Shipman completed the Normanby Hall 10k with a new PB of 47:05.
