First home for the Club was Richard Hind on 59:27, closely followed by Michelle Needham in 1:02 and Gemma Hind in 1:20:06.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-4383 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/clowneroadrunners.org\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/54799247_10161412660560332_2768044123771371520_n-e1552950079263-189x300.jpg\" alt=\"Notts 20\" width=\"189\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/clowneroadrunners.org\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/54799247_10161412660560332_2768044123771371520_n-e1552950079263-189x300.jpg 189w, https:\/\/clowneroadrunners.org\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/54799247_10161412660560332_2768044123771371520_n-e1552950079263.jpg 294w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 189px) 100vw, 189px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Notts 20<\/h3>\n<p>Meanwhile, down at Holme Pierpoint, it was the inaugural Notts 20. A few twaeks needed on pre-race set up but nice course &#8211; mix of road and trail with some climb in the first half. The breeze and puddles added to the challenge too. Definitely one to consider whether in its own right or as a marathon tune up next Spring. This time round Karen Shipman achieved an impressive 90 second 20 mile PB and a Bronze Standard finishing in 2:42:27. Giles Searby came in on 3:11:02.<\/p>\n<h3>M S Zaandam 5k<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/clowneroadrunners.org\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/S-America-cruise-473-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4386\" src=\"http:\/\/clowneroadrunners.org\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/S-America-cruise-473-2-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"John Proffitt\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/clowneroadrunners.org\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/S-America-cruise-473-2-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/clowneroadrunners.org\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/S-America-cruise-473-2.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>John Proffitt did a 5k on board M S Zaandam for Cancer research 12 times round the deck, somewhere in the Pacific off the coast of Chile in 30 c and $20 for the t-shirt!!!<\/p>\n<p>Well done all!<\/p>\n<p>Good luck also to anyone hitting the roads or trails this week and remember to email in your results so we can give your achievements a mention!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"First mention this week goes to Gareth and Hannah &#8211; the storms &#8211; the latest seemingly named after CRR Members, that our runners had to contend with for their races this weekend!
