\"Clowne<\/a>Manchester Marathon<\/h3>\n

Marathon season is upon us with Clowne Road Runners taking part in the Manchester Marathon. First home for the club and finishing in 29th place was Gareth Lowe with a time of 2:38:15 and 2nd V45; a great run following many months of injury. Next home was Graham Worsfold in 2:59:51 followed by Matt Russell 3:22:31, Suzanne Leusby 4:20:57, Helen Worsfold 4:55:33 and completing her first ever marathon was Liz Close with a time of 5:29:11.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Half Marathon<\/h3>\n

Making the most of good running conditions at Sheffield Half Marathon was Rob Adams with a time of 1:39:55 followed by Paul Levitt 1:41:41, Andy Harris 1:43:41; first outing for Andy in club colours and a new PB by almost 7 minutes, Michael Yeend 1:44:37, Steve Tebb 1:50:48 and John Ashmore 1:51:21.<\/p>\n

Peak Rail 7 – Runner vs Steam<\/h3>\n

\"Peak<\/a>Catching up with results from the previous weekend where Dan Harpham and Jackie Robson both ran the Peak Rail 7 – Runner vs Steam race over a very cold and wet course that only 217 of the entrants braved. Dan finished 29th with a time of 51:37 and Jackie in 1:06:57.<\/p>\n

Rother Valley parkrun<\/h3>\n

Hannah Sharpe achieved a new PB of 23:46 at Rother Valley parkrun also gaining a Bronze club standard.<\/p>\n

Bridlington 5 mile dash<\/h3>\n

Giles Searby ran the Bridlington 5 mile dash in a time of 40:16.<\/p>\n
